Who is Dr. Nan?
Dr. Nan Mueller is a graduate of Kansas State University twice over – Bachelor of Science (Biology) and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Following 2+ years working for a mixed animal practice (mainly small animal and occasional exotics) in upstate New York, she moved to Idaho. Shelley Veterinary Hospital (Shelley, Idaho) and Hawthorne Animal Hospital (Pocatello, Idaho) allowed her to continue small animal and occasional exotic work from 2013 to 2019.
After leaving Hawthorne, Nan decided to start her own small animal mobile veterinary practice, based out of Pocatello. Her areas of special interest include animal behavior (including working with positive reinforcement trainers) and promoting the One Health Initiative.
When not seeing patients, Nan spends her time trying to complete crocheted or other crafting projects, enjoying activities at/with her church, or hanging out at home with her cats, “Hedgehog”, “Stevie”, and “Mimi”.
